Spring 2019: Behind The Scenes

…aaaaaaand we’re back! Hi Everyone! Lots of great things happening, lots to share and I will do my best to take my time to make sure I don’t miss a thing! First, I wanted to give you a glimpse of our Spring 2019: Behind the Scenes – highlights, everything that happened, new production stuff we have going on, en fin! de todo un poco!

 

Historically and very (unplanned) we have always had an all girl crew when shooting our campaigns. Well this time we had such an amazing time and we had the best team ever! It was a long day but super fun and everyone truly gave their 150% best to make sure everything was as close to perfect as humanly possible. Shall we?

Setting Up

This probably took the longest and by the time I got there the team was well ahead… made me a little nervous though but after a few minutes of not finding some key things we were on a roll!

Discussing the direction of the shoot, and the master Norah Salazar putting finishing touches on Silken (we’ll get there in a minute) as we get ready to shoot the first look.

For this collection we added a different element, an element of artistry. First, our beautiful model Silken Kelly is a professional ballerina and second we had my primo Francisco Santiago in charge of video production (more on a later post)

 

Finally what is a shoot without the photographer? I have been working with Federica Dall’orso for years and every shoot is a new adventure! Her passion comes through in her photographs.
