The Perfect Concert Dress

Hi all! First things first… I am not doing too hot with the blogging thing… there I admit it! So much to share though and I will do my very very super very best to write one blog entry a week. Thank you for being patient. If there is ever a topic you would like me to cover or if you have questions for me please send them and I promise to answer you! Back to topic: the perfect concert dress!

I am so excited to write about this concert because it was my first outing post pregnancy. After three weeks of breastfeeding and not sleeping through the nigh, I was determined to somehow cover the bags under my eyes and paint the town red… or green in this case! Before Sofia was born my husband had purchased tickets for us to go see Charles Aznavour, one of our favorite singers. Getting out of the house was a treat especially because I could now wear “non-pregnancy” clothes and it had been such a long time since I had gotten all dressed up to go out on the town. The one on one time with the hubby was great as well.

For this occasion, I chose one of lalla bee’s Fall 2016 dresses: Querida Dress. While I did not want to overdress I did want to wear something classy and elegant enough for the theatre – I also wanted to feel comfortable throughout the chilly fall night.

Instead of wearing the Pink / Black version of this dress, I chose to go with the Green / Black combination. I love green, it is a perfect Fall color and it goes much better with my skin complexion.

For my main accessory I chose a clutch my husband then boyfriend gifted me about 10 or so years go.

It goes without saying that the concert was AMAZING! Charles Aznavour is so talented, he shared that he is 92 years old and his voice remains intact. Much to my excitement he sang some songs in Spanish, and he ended the night our favorite song “La Boheme”.

One thing I always try to achieve is to look my best for the occasion but also to feel comfortable; otherwise I am not able to enjoy myself. The clothes have to fit right, it has to look like a million bucks. I really felt beautiful and comfortable in this dress.

What do you guys think?

Xoxo
